Meeting Annie Modesitt
Monday night September 25th, I joined with knitters at the Westchester Knitting Guild meeting. Annie Modesitt gave a lecture on design, where she gets ideas etc....
It was a break for me, since the meeting was originally scheduled as a kniting lesson. Unfortunetly, I do not knit so a lesson would be lost on me. It was wonerful finally meeting Annie. We had an e mail exchange because my essay was included in her book, Cheaper Than Therapy The knitting group could not have been nicer. A gentleman sitting in front of me was even crocheting a yamaka! I was accused of being a "crochet snob" But it was water off a duck's back. Everyone was so nice that I am toying with joining the Guild. So much for being a "snob"!
